Ok, ok. Here are the songs you really wanted to hear. After watching the performance of “Young Folks” on Conan I realized that Peter was actually whistling along with the sample track most of the time. In the recording posted here you can notice the double whistling at the start of the song. So, you know, credit where credit is due - he wasn’t really lip sync whisting. Still, he’s no Andrew Bird… right Megan?

Peter Bjorn and John - Paris 2004 (live at Bowery Ballroom)
Peter Bjorn and John - Young Folks (live at Bowery Ballroom)
Peter Bjorn and John - Amsterdam (live at Bowery Ballroom)

I’m still loving “Chills” from the previous post. So much better compared to the shorter and faster album version.

i’ve seen megan attempt to lip sinc whistle. it’s not a pretty sight.

well they shouldve decided on either lip sync whistling or karaoke whistling cause they totally had me fooled til the end when it was like “hmmm, should we whistle *with* the track again or….eh, maybe not this time.” yeah, yeah, so i should shut the hell up. i know. in my defense, at least i was engaged in the show….which apparently others were not. am i wrong?
